The ROVER is a custom electric vehicle tailored for the needs of Film, TV & commercial production in New York. ROVER has the capacity to carry jibs, remote heads, Steadicams (hard mount and step on/off), lighting and more.

Built on a billet 7075 aluminum chassis with a precision TIG welded upper frame, ROVER is rigid and provides a load capacity of 2200lbs. 44 1-1/4” speed rail receivers are integrated into the frame, and the vehicle is paneled with standard 1” X 1” rigging cheese plate made of hard anodized aluminum. This allows for versatile rigging solutions for any job. A four corner air load leveling system combined with independent suspension provides a smooth ride over terrain.

ROVER’s four wheel driven electric powertrain provides instant acceleration for tracking purposes, and four disc brakes with built in E-brakes allows the vehicle to stop on a dime, as well as providing additional safety while being rigged. ROVER’s quad steering provides not only a tighter turning radius, but also the ability to crab, enabling another level of precision camera movement control.

ROVER utilizes an innovative modular XBW system, which allows the driver to be placed anywhere on the vehicle. This provides flexibility unparalleled by any other tracking vehicle solution, as the entire vehicle set up can be modified to fit a specific project’s needs. The XBW system is designed with proven, automotive/motorsport grade industry standard components, with high levels of redundancy designed into the steering, throttle and brake inputs. E-Stops are incorporated into the driver controls and harness structure, ensuring the highest levels of vehicle reliability & safety.
